The Amazons is a comedy about the fabled tribe of warrior women. Halle Berry is their tough leader, Janeane Garofalo is the loud-mouth, and Paris Hilton wears very tiny fur clothes and her job is to infiltrate patriarchal tribes. In the film, the Amazon queen is pregnant (Amazons get pregnant from time to time to keep up the race) and soon has the child. But it’s a boy. The law demands she kill the baby. But the warrior queen can’t do it. The tribe is furious and the only two on her side are Hilton and Garofalo. In the end, they are forced out of the tribe, and they all leave and find husbands and realize life is better when you don’t hate based on gender.
